Office meets hospitality

For Boston Properties New York headquarters, Fogarty Finger worked closely with the client to evoke an inviting, transparent environment mimicking the spirit of the company. A warm color palette, gracious lounge furnishings, and carefully articulated detailing bring a hospitality scale and aesthetic to the many public and collaborative spaces in the new work environment.

Office as showcase

Located in 599 Lexington, one of Boston Properties’ major New York properties, the client was interested in showcasing a variety of design solutions suited to the structure. Challenged by a deep and awkwardly shaped floor plate, the layout was tailored and directed to maximize exterior views and bring light deep into the central floor plate. Custom artwork throughout—including a large cityscape drawing by artist Patrick Vale—pays homage to the company’s core values while distinguishing the office by its New York City locale.
